Weekend Wisdom & Worship

This Sunday was the children’s choir performance. They were kids from 2yrs old up to 8yrs old. One of my fabulous friends was thoughtful enough to get video of her daughter and my daughter just happened to be included because she was standing right next to her.

There is nothing better then watching your own child worship Jesus with all her heart!

Weekend Wisdom and Worship

I got the opportunity to go to a women’s brunch yesterday at our church. The women’s ministry leaders try to do at least one of these every quarter for the women in our church.

As always, I had a great time. I was filled up with God’s love and with fellowship. The speaker gave us a little taste of what the winter/spring bible study has in store for us. I am excited by the content, but I am not really sure about it all together. The study is by Kay Arthur and being a newer believer, it is sometimes overwhelming to do one of her studies.

For the closing of the brunch, we were left with a song and a video. The song was I Am from Nicole Nordeman and the slide show had been put together by one of the ministry leads. I haven’t heard this song before (although I love Nicole) and it was a beautiful song. I was left with tears in my eyes and felt truly filled with an understanding of my Father’s love.

While I couldn’t get the slide show that I saw at the brunch, I searched for the song and for a similar, wonderfully done slide show. Here is what I found. I hope you are as touched and moved as I was.
