Monday Musings

~ I thought things would calm down at my house after September. It is starting to look like things will only get busier in October. However, I seem to thrive best on staying busy. It is weird, but when I am busy and have a lot of things to do, I seem to get more accomplished then when I have nothing to do.

~ There are so many posts I want to write and yet I cannot find the right words. I guess it is time to get out the scented candles and put on some worship music tomorrow.

~ I am so incredibly proud of how well Jayden is doing in school. He is really thriving now that he has gotten into the routine and over the bumps. Thank you Lord for showing me the correct path I needed to go down. I think this has been the best thing for not only Jayden, but everyone in our family.

~ I wish I could figure out what is going on with Nolan. It is possible he is having issues teething, but he has never been cranky or had issues while teething. He is also having separation issues; he cried for the first time EVER when I left him in the childcare today. All I know is the boy is having sleeping issues and it is affecting the momma.

~ I am so incredibly excited about both bible studies I am doing. I would have thought that I would have a hard time keeping up with both, but it is amazing how easily you can find the time when you want to. I am completely and incredibly on fire for God right now.

~ I am really tired of my face looking like a 16yr old teenager’s face. I thought I was supposed to be done with all this when I became an adult.

~ My heart is so filled with joy for a beautiful friend. After 9 years and many miscarriages, she found out she is having a healthy baby boy to add to their family with two daughters. God can do anything and He is so GOOD.

~ TMJ really sucks.

~ What is up with this weather??? This is the Pacific NW and it is September. It is not supposed to be almost 80* with high humidity that makes it feel like Hawaii. I am finally ready for fall. Where is fall???

Monday Musings

~This week at VBS was awesome! We had 350+ children this year. There were 50+ children who officially accepted Jesus into their hearts. One of those children was my own son, Jayden. I am in such awe at the work that God does in the hearts of children. I definitely got a little teary eyed when I heard the news. God had a wonderful week of parties in heaven.

~My dishwasher broke. On Monday of VBS. Good times. A dishwasher should not break after only about 6 years of use.  I tried to keep up with washing the dishes by hand this week, but that just did not happen. We survived on a lot of sandwiches and fast food this week. I am sick of fast food. We got a new dishwasher, but as we pulled it out this weekend, we discovered that it had been leaking. Now we have to replace part of the floor underneath. Yay.

~I should be doing dishes, laundry and picking up the remnants of the bomb that went off in my house this week. However, after a busy and tiring VBS week, Saturday at the car show, church and outside chores on Sunday, I think a pajama and movie day is in store for us. The dishes and the laundry will still be there tomorrow.

~Why does pizza have to taste so good???

~With having a cold and VBS this week, my healthy eating and gym time went by the wayside. I am definitely getting back on that band wagon this week So please ignore the above thought.

~I am going through Pioneer Woman withdrawals. I haven’t had time to spend on her site lately. I will be partaking in some yumminess while sitting in my pajamas today.

~There are always so many fun things to do during the summer it is hard to choose which ones to do. I wish we could do them all, but alas, God has yet to change the number of hours in the day, so we will just have to do what we can.
